‘Ronnie the Missing Link’ is a rescued orangutan who enjoys a very human life as one of the family. Little does he know that his adopted father is a research scientist working on a sinister project using nanotechnology to create hybrid human-animals for the US military.

One day Ronnie accidentally swallows a research chemical and the family fears for the worst. But far from being harmed, when he wakes up Ronnie is a genius of Einsteinian proportions.

When he learns of his master's plans he enlists the help of the daughter of the family and together they embark on a dangerous mission to defeat the forces of evil and save the planet.
